Llandudno FC can confirm that Reserves Team Manager Tony Doyle has departed the club following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Tony joined the reserves setup following a restructuring in March 2024 and went on to oversee 64 matches. During his time in charge, he achieved significant success, including securing a league and cup double last season, while also guiding the side to a League Cup Final in his first campaign and a second-place finish this season.
Jordan commented: “I’m devastated that Tony has decided to step down. His commitment and dedication to the club over the past three years have been unbelievable, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything he’s done.
During his time here, he reached a League Cup Final in his first season, then went on to win both the league and League Cup in his second, before finishing second this season. He’s not only made the reserves highly competitive but has also played a huge role in developing players and helping them progress into the first team, which has been fantastic to see.
On a personal note, Tony is a close friend of mine outside of football, and I’m really glad he’s been part of this journey! Thank you for everything!”
Everyone at the club would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Tony for his outstanding contribution. His work with the reserves has not only delivered success on the pitch but has also played a vital role in developing players who have progressed into the first team setup!
We wish Tony all the very best for the future.
