We are delighted to announce that club captain Ross Weaver has signed a new deal to remain with the club for the 2026/27 Cymru Premier season.
Since joining the club in 2023 at the start of Jordan’s tenure, Ross has played a huge role both on and off the pitch. A natural leader, he has consistently set high standards and helped guide the squad through some challenging periods over the past three seasons.
After an injury-hit 2024/25 campaign, Ross returned strongly and became a key figure in our defensive line, making 32 appearances across all competitions as the club secured the JD Cymru North title to return to the Cymru Premier.
Speaking after signing his new deal, Ross said:
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at the football club over the past three years and was immensely proud to be part of the squad that regained Cymru Premier status this season from where we first started in 2023. I’m delighted to be continuing the journey. As a group, we are more motivated than ever to succeed and keep building. I’m sure the togetherness that has been built within the football club will hold us in great stead heading into a hugely competitive league!”
Manager Jordan added:
“I’m delighted Ross has stayed for the coming season. He is a leader and has been with us since day one, so it’s important that he continues to play a big part in what will be another hugely important season for the club.”
