Tomorrow, Saturday 3rd July, Llandudno Football Club will host Avro FC from Manchester at Maesdu Park in a 1pm Kick Off. We've compiled the below information to help you understand what to expect if you are wishing to attend the game.
Llandudno FC vs Avro FC
Maesdu Park, LL30 1HH
1pm Kick Off - Gate Opens 12pm
Entry for spectators is via the turnstile accessible from the bottom car park, next to the skate park. Reception is currently closed. You will be temperature checked on the way in, and must show a reading of 37.8 or under to be allowed access in to the ground.
Ground capacity is currently still 100 fans. These are treated on a first come, first served basis through the gate, and will be guided by stewards on where they can safely watch the game. You must be stood 2m apart from each other at all times during the game. We have applied for an increase in capacity, and are awaiting a ground assessment next week by the FAW.
The outdoor area of The Clubhouse is not authorised to operate as a public house, if it has a view of the pitch, therefore screening has been placed preventing this, to allow customers to still be able to enjoy food and drink, including alcohol as part of our 170 capacity Clubhouse. FAW rules state that alcohol cannot be consumed as a spectator of the game in Wales, and therefore you will not be able to purchase alcohol if you are there to view the game.
Spectators will have access to two points of hospitality, one on the left side of the ground under the press box where we will be serving hot drinks and confectionery, and the Clubhouse hatch where you will be able to purchase hot drinks and food from the kitchen. You will be able to purchase items from 12pm through to 2.30pm at these points to take back to your designated viewing position.
Outside toilets are still in operation for you to use, and spectators can of course use the Clubhouse before and after the game for normal service.
Please do not enter the ground if you are feeling unwell, and showing any symptoms of COVID-19. Please use the hand sanitisers on the way in to the game, and please remain socially distanced from all other spectators throughout the game as per current guidelines.
And finally please respect the staff at the ground at all times. Without our wonderful volunteers we wouldn't be able to handle such operations effectively to be able to host football again under these trying times. We are as desperate as you for normality, and our staff are there to advise you on how to ensure the games are operated under current FAW Return To Play guidelines. Anybody found to be abusing the guidelines will be escorted from the ground by security.
We are delighted to welcome you back to Maesdu Park!
