Llandudno will host Conwy Borough in a second local derby in seven days after they fell to a defeat last weekend at Colwyn Bay.

An impressive start from the Seasiders proved to matter little after they conceded a penalty in the 35th minute, and conceded again just after half-time in what turned out to be a derby day to forget.

Manager Matty Jones will be hoping to put that right against Conwy Borough, who themselves have had a decent stat to the season, after convincingly beating Llangefni Town 4-0 away from home.

They also managed to hold Bangor City, and gave an impressive Flint Town United side a good game too.

Llandudno will have confidence to despite losing last weekend, after they comfortably put aside Rhyl with goals from Dean Seager and Scott McHarrie.

Injuries will make it tougher fotr the home side though, with a number of doubts including Dean Seager and Robbie Parry.

Llandudno will undoubtedly have to keep an eye on in-form Conwy Borough striker Corrig McGonigle, who has been nominated for August’s Player of the Month award for the JD Cymru North
