Similar to the previous few home matches the opening quarter of an hour was cautious, but organised by Llandudno as they looked to try and carve out an opening.
No clear chances for either side but Llandudno just slightly making the most of home advantage and starting to apply pressure in the opposition half, and James Joyce takes a tumble on the edge of the Carmarthen box after being brought down. It's an early yellow for Keiron Lewis and a dangerous position for Llandudno. The ball is played in a scramble breaks out in the box, nobody claims the ball and it's loose for Danny Shaw to sweep home from close range! 1-0 to Llandudno with 18 minutes on the clock.
Llandudno continue to press well and capitalise further as they look to get a foothold in the game. No clear opportunities created and nothing for Stephen Hall to worry about in the opposing goal just yet with 25minutes played.
Against the run of play Carmarthen break and a delightful ball is played across the box over the keeper for Liam Thomas the visiting captain to bury in to the net, and just like that the scores are level again. 1-1.
With half an hour played Llandudno are battling to get back in front, there's a stop in play and Danny Hughes returns the ball to the keeper, which the referee deems to be a yellow card, much to the disbelief of both sets of fans.
Llandudno knuckle down and keep pressing utilising Toby Jones and Robbie Parry who are linking up nicely with Baynes and Joyce on the overlap, a couple of half chances cleared by Carmarthen but Llandudno pushing.
Llandudno finally get their reward in the 37th minute following great work by Marc Williams down the right hand channel and a great ball picks out Matty Williams who sweeps home for his first WPL goal in black and white, 2-1!
Half Time
Llandudno 2 - 1 Carmarthen Town

Second half underway and Llandudno starting to assert their dominance in the game as they seek for a third goal. Carmarthen in return becoming increasingly frustrated and beginning to resort to some strong challenges.
A shout for a peanlty with ten minutes in to the second half as a Carmarthen defender handles the ball in the area, but the referee although acknowledged it waves away the claim.
With an hour played the physicality of Carmarthen takes it toll with the referee with Ceri Morgan, Aidan O'Kelly, and Craig Hanford all shown a yellow card within the space fo 4 minutes.
Llandudno thought they'd found the breakthrough for the third as great work from Toby Jones down the right hand side to skip past fullback and defender before picking out Marc Williams in the area who volleys at goal but is saved well by Hall! Still 2-1 Llandudno with 25mins to play!
Carmarthen make a change as Captain Liam Thomas makes way for Dwayne Coultress, and the new man meets a cross over the keeper who in fairness to Alex Lynch does extremely well to save the initial header but it falls straight back at Coultress to bundle in. 2-2 with 18mins left to play.
Llandudno still playing by far the better football compared to Carmarthen whose long ball policy and physicality has caused unattractive problems for us today, but Robbie Parry nearly put some justice back in to the game as he picks up a ball with his back to goal and hammers an overhead kick at goal only to see it rattle off the crossbar with the keeper beaten!
With the clock ticking Carmarthen find themself down to 10 men as Aidan O'Kelly kicks the ball away and receives his second yellow in the 86th minute. Some justice restored in the game but Llandudno need to capitalise if they're to come away with three points.
And they do! An almighty scramble in the box and it's Marc Williams who pokes home with the clock showing 90minutes! Marc heads straight to the Manager followed by the team to show their support and Llandudno hopefully come away with what they deserve.
Sam Hart makes the field of play with an additional 4 minutes given by the fourth official, and Llandudno run the clock down to see out the game. 3-2!
