Llandudno went close just after 25 minutes when a flick on from Aron Hughes was met by Osian Jones, but it somehow avoided the target and trickled wide.
After half an hour the deadlock was broken, an inviting cross from the right wing was turned in by Bala winger Matty Curtis to make it 1-0. The second half kicked off with a glorious chance for Bala, good build up play down the right resulted in a cross met by Cullen Rodgers, but he got underneath it and he blazed over.
From then Llandudno began to take the game to Bala without really causing Goldston any real trouble, Morgan Owen hit a free kick wide and Aron Hughes flashed a shot across goal, meanwhile the danger man Owen nearly found a way around the Llandudno backline but McKenzie Slaven done well on the cover.
Llandudno remained in the game throughout, but after a swift counter attack that man Owen managed to avoid 2 challenges before firing past Harris to put the game beyond Llandudno’s reach.
Credit to Bala making it 5 from 5, but Llandudno worked tirelessly and their effort and work rate couldn’t be faulted.
