Mark Orme Agrees Two Year Deal Overseeing 19’s Development Squad

“Having worked here in different roles before I feel the club is looking to move forward in the right direction and I am excited to be a part of that.” Mark Orme

Llandudno Football Club are pleased to announce that Mark Orme has agreed a two year deal to manage the Llandudno FC U19’s Development Squad. The club would like to place on record their thanks to departing U19’s manager Sean Eardley who has had the team for the past three seasons, and enjoyed great success with the development of the players that has come through, including an FAW Youth Cup Semi Final. Although departing the U19’s, Sean will be staying within our academy setup for next season.

Mark said of his appointment: “I am really pleased to be offered the opportunity to take the U19’s on from the great work that Sean has done with them.

I believe strongly in producing your own players and with the talented squad that is already here my aim is to work closely with the first team management to get them to take the next step in to first team football.

Having worked here in different roles before I feel the club is looking to move forward in the right direction and I am excited to be a part of that.”

Manager Iwan Williams is also pleased with the appointment of Mark and looks forward to developing a close working relationship with him: “This is a fantastic appointment for the football club and one I’m really excited about. Mark is about as professional as they come and will add so much value to me personally never mind the club as a whole. The changes we’re looking to implement moving forward will provide the academy with a complete pathway from the younger ages to the 1st Team, and I’m glad Mark has committed to the role as he will have a massive part to play in being the link required between me and the fantastic 19’s squad we’ve got. A great appointment.”
