Llandudno sign Bangor City duo Yalany Baio and Sameron Dool

By Geraint Roberts

Llandudno FC are delighted to announce the signings of Yalany Baio and Sameron Dool to the club.

“People have already written us off before a ball is kicked in the second phase but we’re not giving up, and both Yal and Sam will help our cause immensely.” Iwan Williams

The two midfield players are available for Friday night's Phase Two opener against Aberystwyth Town at Park Hall.

Both players have had experience in then English Premier League club academies, at Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion respectively.

The signings will add more depth to the squad in an attempt to push up the league table at achieve Welsh Premier League status next season.

The club would like to thank Gary Taylor Fletcher and Bangor City for their help in concluding these deals.

Manager Iwan Williams had this to say about his new acquisitions.

Here’s what the manager had to say about the two new additions to the side.

“Today we’re delighted to announce that both Yalany Baio and Sam Dool joins us from Bangor City respectively.”

“I’ve been a long admirer of Baio from the first game I saw him play for Bangor at the start of the season.”

“He is someone you do not want to play against. He’s tenacious, aggressive and has bags of energy. He gets about and breaks play up and is exactly the type we need to fight moving forward.”

“Sam is a classy player who is highly rated. He is very technical, box to box type player and has a pass in him.”

“He grew up through the West Brom Academy up to the Under 23’s and was very unlucky not to break into the first team.”

“Both Yal and Sam are great characters who have shown an interest to fight for Llandudno. What makes it better is both are versatile and can play in a number of positions.”

“People have already written us off before a ball is kicked in the second phase but we’re not giving up, and both Yal and Sam will help our cause immensely.”

“I’d like to personally thank Fletch especially given the difficulties he and everyone at Bangor City are currently encountering.”

The club would like to wish both Yalany and Sam the best of luck with the club, as the fight for safety continues.

As mentioned, the two new additions are both available to play against Aberystwyth on Friday night.
