“It’ll be a test of character so those coming in will have an opportunity to stay in”
The Seasiders have beaten Bangor and Rhyl to get to this point of the competition whilst
TNS comfortably saw off Prestatyn Town in the second round.
The two sides met just over under two weeks ago and Llandudno will be hoping for a better showing this time around.
Alfons Fosu-Mensah is cup-tied for this game after he played a part in Denbigh Town’s first round fixture earlier in the season.
Manager Iwan Williams is hoping for a positive performance against tomorrow’s opponents.
“I’m hoping for a performance. I’m hoping my players are at it and make up for the league performance a couple of weeks ago.”
“In our last two league games we have performed ok. The defence has been resolute as we’ve gone back to basics and in attack we have to find solutions or that bit more desire to put the ball in the back of the net.”
“We’ll keep going though as our morale remains intact, so if we keep working hard our fortunes in front of goal will change.” Said Iwan.
Young lads Telor Williams, Osian Jones and Aron Hughes all featured against Rhyl and Iwan Williams has said there will changes again tomorrow night.
“There will be changes. It’s an opportunity for us to utilise the squad and get people minutes. It’ll be a test of character so those coming in will have an opportunity to stay in.”
Iwan says that tomorrow’s game is an opportunity to build some momentum for the upcoming Welsh Premier League games.
“If we can get a good level of performance tomorrow night then it’ll be something for us to build on and carry momentum onto Barry on Sunday afternoon.”
“Again, we’ll have to be at it, and my job as the manager will be to get the players up for it.
However, that task shouldn’t be too hard with a Semi-Final at stake. We’re all looking forward to it.” Said Iwan.
The eight times Nathaniel MG Cup winners will be a stern test for the Seasiders tomorrow, but it’s no doubt an opportunity for the lads to show what they’re made of.
