Goalkeeper Shaun Pearson agrees to stay on at Llandudno

By Geraint Roberts

Last year's number one Shaun Pearson will remain at the club next season after he has agreed a contract extension.

Pearson has played for Airbus, Holywell, Colwyn Bay and Barrow before joining Llandudno last Summer, and was the main man in goal for the majority of last season, playing 28 Welsh Premier League games.

Shaun joins captain Danny Hughes in committing to the club for another season from last year's squad.

Manager Matty Jones is delighted that Shaun will be staying at the club, and feels his experience will undoubtedly be key.

"I am really happy to have Shaun staying at the club, he's an experienced and top quality goalkeeper."

"I think this is another big piece of business for us as we look to rebuild and move towards the new season. Said Matty.

Shaun Pearson has said he is excited to get going with the new squad and wants to make up for last season's results.

"I'm really looking forward to the season ahead. After what was such a disappointing season last year." Said Shaun.

"It's a new team and a new feel about the club, hopefullu we can start the club's transition back to the Welsh Premier League sooner rather than later."
