Friendly announced against Glan Conwy for Thursday night

3 weeks ago By Geraint Roberts

Iwan Williams' side will host Glan Conwy on Thursday night in a friendly during the two-week break from Welsh Premier League action.

It's a long two weeks now until Llandudno travel to Connah's Quay and the manager has said this friendly will be a good opportunity to give some players minutes.

"We are lacking in confidence in certain areas of the pitch so the idea is to give the players on the fringes minutes." Said Iwan.

"We toyed with giving the squad a week off for distance and to re-calculate but I think it's important to keep working hard to try and overcome the predicament we're in."

Glan Conwy currently sit in third place in the Welsh Alliance Division Two and just beat Amlwch Town 3-1 last weekend.

Entry to Thursday night's game will be £2, and kick-off will be at 8pm.
