“ I believe that it’s going in a good direction moving forward under Iwan, and I back the club and the management we have here 100%.”
Llandudno Football Club are delighted to announce that midfielder Danny Hughes has extended his stay at The Giant Hospitality Stadium until the summer of 2020. We spoke to Danny about his decision to stay with his boyhood club moving forward:
“First and foremost it was an easy decision for me to extend my stay here, everyone knows my love for the club, the town, and the fans here, but I will always only sign if I believe in what the club have going for them. It’s been a difficult year with the changes and I think people can see changes are needed. I believe that it’s going in a good direction moving forward under Iwan, and I back the club and the management we have here 100%.
I know some of the players have already announced that they’re leaving the club and off to pastures new, but that happens in football, we’ve been lucky in one sense to have the same group of lads here for a fair period of time in which we’ve achieved good things but now we should look forward to what the future has to hold, Iwan always emphasises on dealing with adversity, and as a club we’ve had to do that many times, everyone involved in the club have been challenged in the past 6 months in some way and will continue to do so, but as a club we will deal with it over the summer and kick off together as a club, as a town, and as a group of fans come August and hopefully get the buzz back around the place “
