Carmarthen Town vs Llandudno

2 months ago By Sam Williams

Match Preview

Llandudno travel to Richmond Park this Saturday to face bottom of the table Carmarthen Town AFC in matchday 16 of the JD Welsh Premier League. Llandudno faced the Old Gold in our opening game of the season at The Giant Hospitality Stadium and were victorious with a 3-0 win following a brace from Sam Hart either side of a Shaun Cavanagh strike.

Carmarthen’s only points thus far have come following an impressive 4-0 win away to Bala Town, and a goalless draw at The Rock to Cefn Druids. So although propping everyone else up in the league they have produced a couple of performances in which Manager Iwan Williams’ is fully aware of:

“We go in to the game on the back of two good wins and two good performances, however we’re not taking anything for granted, although Carmarthen have been struggling of late in the league, I know Aizelwood will have them raring to go on the back of a good win in the Welsh Cup. We’ve had a good weeks training, and the squad are eager to kick on and go on a run and see if we can push and consolidate a place in the top six which, has always been my aspiration since I took the job.”
